Equipment Features
1. The drum body is equipped with screening meshes of varying apertures according to process requirements (typically 20–40 mm). As the drum rotates, the material continuously tumbles; fine particles that meet the required particle size pass through the screen openings and fall out, while larger particles, hard clumps, and long straw fragments are discharged from the end of the drum, thereby achieving precise separation of impurities from the desired material. This ensures uniform particle size of the cultivation substrate and prevents large particles from puncturing the mushroom bags.
2. Efficient impurity removal: During the screening process, stones, plastics, rope ends, metal wires, and uncrushed hard lumps are simultaneously removed from the culture substrate, preventing these contaminants from entering subsequent stages such as mixing, bagging, and inoculation. This helps avoid equipment damage, pipeline blockage, and puncture of mushroom bags, while also reducing the risk of contamination caused by contaminant-associated microbial growth.
3. When used in conjunction with a loosening and crushing machine, it achieves uniform loosening and distribution of the material. After loosening and crushing, the material lumps continuously tumble and are thrown about inside the drum, resulting in a fluffier texture and more uniform moisture content and component distribution, thereby preventing localized nutrient imbalances and laying a solid foundation for subsequent mixing and bagging.
